Juvenile, aggressive, misspelled, sexist, homophobic, swinging from raging at the contents of a video to providing a pointlessly detailed description followed by a LOL, YouTube comments are a hotbed of infantile debate and unashamed ignorance – with the occasional burst of wit shining through.

I have a folder called “super bullshit land” and this is my latest addition to it. I Might render everything it contains and upload it in a single video
“If you look at the best artists at Disney for example, they create incredible books and artwork and share their processes – it’s interesting because those same people are happy to look at how other artists are developing their style. That whole medium has evolved on the basis of sharing ideas. But in games we lock it all in a black box and keep it to ourselves.” Ancel hopes that the tools will inspire small devs: “It is more interesting to have a community and share our content.”
THIS IS SO TRUE.
Michel Ancel - who actively developed and designed the engine Rayman Origins runs on - is currently “in discussions” with Ubisoft to release the entire UbiArt Framework engine as OPEN-SOURCE.
It’s like a dream that might come true! Damn. I wish him all the luck in the world though, knowing Ubi and its disgust towards SDK’s and such.
Tough he did get them to release the game DRM free on PC, so there’s still hope!
If it gets released, I will MAKE SOME COOL SHIT WITH IT. Seriously.
I will replace Rayman’s head by Robin Walker’s, and replace the Electoons by TF2 hats (or money)
